Meeting discusses ways to activate Taiz multi-purpose agricultural cooperative association

Taiz - Saba : A meeting chaired by the Undersecretary of Taiz Province for Development Affairs, Abdul-Wasi Al-Shamsi, discussed on Friday with members of the administrative body of the Taiz Agricultural Cooperative Multipurpose Association, procedures and steps to activate the association to implement socio-economic activities at the directorate level . During the meeting, Al-Shamsi stressed the importance of completing the procedures for equipping the association's headquarters, conducting an inventory of solid agricultural lands and large farmers, as well as preparing a database of implemented community initiatives and ongoing initiatives in coordination with the relevant authorities to intervene and support their implementation in accordance with the leadership's directives. Amer Al-Ahdal, Executive Director of the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, a member of the development team, explained the role of the Union in supporting, following up and activating cooperative societies, evaluating th e administrative staff of the societies, and networking between the societies and official bodies. Al-Ahdal pointed to the role of cooperative societies in the next stage and the goals to be achieved through the societies according to the revolutionary's directives and political leadership.
