Magelang, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, has met with Minister of Culture and Fine Arts of the Kingdom of Cambodia Phoeurng Sackona, on the sidelines of the G20 Ministers of Culture’s meeting hosted by the Republic of Indonesia.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in preserving heritage through the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM). They also discussed cooperation in cultural fields between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, Minister of Culture invited the Cambodian minister to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to explore the Saudi cultural scene and learn about its culture and people as well as its most prominent heritage features. He also invited the Cambodian artists and intellectuals to participate in the festivals held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
