Riyadh, The Committee in charge of taking the precautionary measures needed to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held its 283rd meeting chaired by Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajil.
The meeting was held with the membership of 25 government entities to follow up all developments of the COVID-19 situation and the efforts of all national entities in combating the pandemic and applying precautionary measures and preventive protocols to address the pandemic and limit the spread of the virus.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed the developments and the assessment of the current situation regarding the new variant of the COVID-19 “Omicron”.
