Manama, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the 48th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Industrial Cooperation Committee, held today in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting discussed the importance of the industrial sector in supporting and developing the GCC states’ economy, ways to harness all efforts to support the sector, and the integration of the states’ roles in order to develop their national industries.
It also addressed a number of issues related to enhancing cooperation and integration among the GCC states in the industrial sector, which contributes to achieving economic growth. This is in addition to the committee’s role regarding industrial promotion as well as overcoming the Challenges that face this sector.
