Minister of Islamic Affairs: Saudi-Bosnian Relations are Close and Constructive

Riyadh, The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh affirmed that the Saudi-Bosnian relations are close and constructive, noting the Bosnian people’s appreciation for the Kingdom and its humanitarian stances.

This came in a statement by Al Al-Sheikh, during a press conference, held with the participation of the Bosnian Chief of the Islamic Sheikhdom, Chief of Scholars, Grand Mufti Dr. Husein Kavazovic, at the headquarters of the Islamic Sheikhdom, in Sarajevo, following the signing ceremony of the executive program for cooperation in the field of Islamic affairs between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Sheikhdom in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Al Al-Sheikh indicated that the program will be launched soon, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to spread the moderate approach according to what was stated in the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah, denouncing the organizations that politicalized the religion.

For his part, Dr. Husein Kavazovic confirmed that the executive program is a continuation of the efforts and cooperation between the two sides to demonstrate the tolerance of Islam and its message in the service of the world.

Dr. Kavazovic praised the Kingdom’s leadership for its support and interest in Islam and Muslims, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for its efforts in spreading moderate Islam.
