ABU DHABI: Minister of Justice, Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, attended this evening the reception hosted by Abdulaziz Akkulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of his country's National Day. The event, held in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the UAE, and members of the Uzbek community in the UAE. In his speech on the occasion, the Uzbek ambassador praised the strong relations between his country and the UAE in all fields, stressing that the Uzbek-Emirati relationship is a strong partnership built on mutual respect, friendship, and the shared bonds of Islamic brotherhood.
