Minister of Youth visits Olympic swimming pool project in Al-Thawra Sports City

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohamed Al-Mawlid, visited the Olympic swimming pool project in Al-Thawra Sports City in the Capital Sana'a on Monday. During the inspection visit, in which he was accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Sports Sector Ali Hadban, Minister Al-Mawlid listened to an explanation of the components of the project and the measures taken by the Ministry to complete the project. The Olympic swimming pool project is one of the qualitative projects in the Republic, where it was damaged and stopped working as a result of being targeted by the direct bombing of the aggression aircraft. The project consists of a swimming pool with international dimensions of 50× 25 meters and terraces for the public, including a plunge pool and an educational pool, equipped with electromechanical systems for heating, sterilizing, and treating the pool water. The project includes health and service facilities and a "spaceframe" coverage system for the roof of the pool and terraces. At the end of t he visit, the minister directed the concerned ministry to quickly submit a detailed report on the project. Source: Yemen News Agency
