Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, presided over a meeting of the Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi. The Council focused on reviewing the strategy and recent updates of the Agentic AI Project, alongside other national initiatives.
According to Emirates News Agency, His Highness Sheikh Mansour reinforced the UAE's commitment, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to utilize modern technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance governmental efficiency, accelerate execution, and improve the quality of life in the community. His Highness emphasized the transformative potential of Agentic AI in government operations, aiming to create a government system that is smarter, more flexible, and proactive.
The Council examined the Agentic AI Project's strategy, which serves as a national framework to broaden the adoption of Agentic AI in government operations, thereby reinforcing the UAE Government's global leadership in AI application. Key initiatives include establishing a national technical ecosystem, "FedAI," developing a customer experience lab, and launching internal government challenges to engage employees in solution development.
Discussions also addressed the results of the project's first implementation phase, focusing on building government capabilities and evaluating services and operations. In addition, the Council reviewed various governmental proposals to regulate sectors such as healthcare, genomics, and telemarketing, along with enhancing food safety and tax system efficiency.
Updates on national strategies and policies related to environmental sustainability, renewable energy, and investment encouragement in the UAE were also discussed during the meeting.
