The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship has launched the Entrepreneurship Hackathon, designed to provide a platform for young innovators to develop entrepreneurial ideas and venture into the world of entrepreneurship. The Hackathon will focus on four main sectors: agricultural technology, education, renewable energy, and tourism. The initiative aims to attract 400 entrepreneurial ideas that address 48 identified challenges within these sectors. The ministry has committed to supporting the top 100 creative ideas, offering them resources and guidance to succeed in the entrepreneurial landscape. Participants will also receive intensive training in entrepreneurship and innovation. Through the StartupsJo platform, interested individuals can explore the challenges and opportunities within the targeted sectors and contribute innovative solutions. The ministry has called on young people from all governorates to participate in the Hackathon, encouraging them to present ideas that could drive significa nt transformation in these sectors, contributing to national economic development and sustainable growth.
