Bookstores, stationery shops, and school supply outlets nationwide were targeted by inspectors who checked for compliance with pricing regulations, including clear price tags and consistency between shelf prices and cashier charges. Product information in Arabic and the legality of discounts, promotions, and competitions were also verified. Moreover, the ministry aimed to ensure that essential school supplies and alternatives are available.
