Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Ministry of Investment, is participating in the 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit, currently being held in National Harbor, Maryland. The event sees the participation of 5,000 individuals from around the world.
According to Emirates News Agency, Mohammad Abdulrahman Alhawi, Under-Secretary at the UAE Ministry of Investment, emphasized that the UAE's involvement in the summit reaffirms its commitment to strengthening economic ties with the United States. He highlighted that the summit offers a vital platform for Emirati businesses to explore investment opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and contribute to the US economic landscape.
Alhawi pointed out that the United States has consistently been one of the UAE's most significant trading partners. The bilateral trade between the two nations exceeded a record US$34 billion in 2024, with commercial ties extending across all 50 states. This is a testament to the robust and growing relationship between the countries.
He expressed pride in leading a delegation that mirrors the UAE's diverse economy and looked forward to the collaborative opportunities that this engagement would unlock.
