Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today held a phone call with His Excellency Milojko Spajic, Prime Minister of Montenegro, to discuss regional developments amid ongoing military escalation and its implications for security and stability.
According to Emirates News Agency, during the call, Prime Minister Spajic expressed Montenegro's condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and several other countries. He emphasized that these actions violate the sovereignty of the affected states, pose a threat to their security and stability, and breach international law and the UN Charter.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked Prime Minister Spajic for Montenegro's supportive stance toward the UAE. Both leaders stressed the importance of halting further escalation and advocated for a return to dialogue and diplomatic efforts to prevent additional deterioration and conflict expansion, which could lead to increased instability in the region.
