The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's announcement of a monthly financial contribution to support the Palestinian people and help address the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings. In a statement, Secretary-General of the MWL Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa praised the initiative, noting that it stems from the centrality of the Palestinian cause to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reflects the longstanding historical solidarity with the Palestinian people. He emphasized that this initiative will help alleviate the devastating effects of the violations committed by the Israeli occupation government. Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa extended his sincere gratitude on behalf of the MWL, its institutions, global councils, and Islamic scholars for the exceptional efforts exerted by the Kingdom in containing the crisis in Gaza, addressing the dire humanitarian situation, and unifying the Arab and Islamic stance. He acknowledged Saudi Ara bia's leadership of the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit to support the Palestinian people and confront the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and to break the imposed siege.
