MWL Condemns Terrorist Houthi Militia Attack on Abha International Airport, Saudi Arabia

Makkah, The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the terrorist attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on Abha International Airport, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a booby-trapped drone, which the Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed it successfully.

The Secretary-General of the MWL, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, condemned this criminal targeting, which resulted in many casualties among civilians of different nationalities, as the sectarian Houthi militia continues its terrorist crimes with all its barbarity, taking advantage of the commitment of the Arab coalition, being led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to moral values and principles and the international laws, in the face of the Houthi militia that turned against Yemeni legitimacy with an external sectarian motive that targets the Yemeni identity, security, and stability.

Dr. Al-Issa, in his name and on behalf of the MWL’s bodies and councils around the world, renewed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards all that threatens its security and stability, supporting all the measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
