Abu dhabi: A new cohort of diplomats took the legal oath before H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, the swearing-in ceremony was attended by several prominent officials, including Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Khalifa bin Shaheen Almarar, Minister of State; and Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Minister of State. Other attendees included ministry undersecretaries and assistant ministers, along with department directors and ministry officials.
Following the ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the newly appointed 29 diplomats and wished them success in their future duties. He expressed confidence in the young national talents joining the diplomatic corps and highlighted their role in enhancing the UAE's global reputation and presence on regional and international stages.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE's approach to addressing challenges with efficiency and capability, turning them into opportunities for growth. He emphasized the country's commitment to strengthening cooperation and partnerships with other nations to support mutual interests and contribute to global development and prosperity.
The new diplomats expressed pride in joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and committed to building on the UAE's diplomatic legacy.
