The US Special Envoy to Libya, Ambassador Richard Norland, welcomed the continued contributions and participation of Representative in the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, while progress continues towards implementing the US strategy to prevent conflict and promote stability in Libya, in order to improve the lives of Libyans, according to him.
This came in a tweet published by the US Embassy on its account on the social networking site (X) after his meeting with Al-Koni, along with the US Assistant Secretary of State for North Africa, Joshua Harris, and the US Chargé d’Affairs, Jeremy Berndt.
According to Norland, the meeting discussed the importance of supporting the political process led by the United Nations that leads to elections.
