OCHA Delegation Assesses UAE Field Hospital Services in Gaza

Rafah:A delegation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) visited the UAE field hospital in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, to evaluate the medical and treatment services it offers.

According to Emirates News Agency, the delegation was informed about the hospital's medical capabilities, its advanced equipment, and engaged in discussions with the management on enhancing coordination and cooperation. These discussions aimed to facilitate patient admissions and expand access to available healthcare and treatment services.

Ahmed Al Nuaimi, the Director of the UAE field hospital, emphasized the facility's preparedness to receive patients and deliver necessary medical care. He noted that the hospital is staffed with specialized medical personnel and equipped with advanced medical technology, medicines, and treatment supplies, enabling it to offer comprehensive healthcare services tailored to meet patients' needs.

He highlighted the importance of supporting patient access to the hospital's services, especially for women and children, ensuring they benefit from the available examinations, treatment, and medical care.
