Office of the HoR in Benghazi hosts the Fourth Meeting of the Council of Legal Advisors in African Parliaments.

Benghazi: The fourth meeting of the Council of Legal Advisors of African Parliaments kicked off yesterday at the House of Representatives (HoR) office in Benghazi, as the delegation of legal advisors participating in the meeting arrived earlier in the city, according to Council spokesman Abdullah Belihaq.

The representative of the Legal Department at the HoR Office, Fares Bukhubbaiza, during the ceremony conveyed the greetings of the Head of the HoR Office, Abdullah Al-Masry, and his wishes to the attendees for good luck and success, stressing that the HoR is the legislative institution and the elected authority by the Libyan people and their single representative.

For his part, Belihaq said in a statement on his Facebook page that the meeting aims to communicate and exchange information between legal advisors and enhance the role of advisors of African parliaments, in addition to studying parliamentary legal issues.

Belihaq highlighted that the fourth meeting will continue for three days from January 29 t
o 31, hosted by the Office of the HoR.

It is noteworthy that the Council of Legal Advisors in African Parliaments is an organization that brings together legal advisors working in African parliaments.
