OIC Condemns Attempt to Assassinate Comoros President

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Friday's assassination attempt on President Azali Assoumani of the Union of the Comoros. The OIC General Secretariat reiterated its solidarity with the Union of the Comoros in the face of any threat to its security and stability; it wished Assoumani swift recovery and the Union of the Comoros and its people safety, stability, and prosperity.
