OIC Secretary-General Hosts Kyrgyzstan Ambassador in Jeddah

Jeddah: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, engaged in discussions with Ambassador Ulukbek Maripov, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the OIC. The meeting took place at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the discussions centered on mutual interests, including the upcoming session of the Council of Foreign Ministers, which is scheduled for June 21 and 22, 2025, in Istanbul. The two leaders also addressed regional and international developments and initiatives led by the Kyrgyz Republic. The Secretary-General acknowledged the active role of Kyrgyzstan within the OIC and emphasized the organization's commitment to enhancing cooperation with its member states.
