Jeddah, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha received here today Georgian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Special Envoy to the OIC Vakhtang Jaoshvili.
During the meeting, the Georgian ambassador affirmed his country’s desire to strengthen its relations with the OIC and its member states in the fields of common interest.
For his part, the OIC Secretary General hailed the level of religious tolerance in Georgia, expressing the organization’s readiness to strengthen dialogue and cooperation.
