Jeddah, The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the outcomes of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Chair of the Islamic Summit, in Jeddah with the participation of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq, and the United States of America.
The General Secretariat praised the content of the speeches delivered by the leaders of the participating countries at the summit, as they provided an accurate diagnosis of the crises the region is going through in addition to the challenges it faces.
The OIC General Secretariat also affirmed its support for all Arab and international efforts aimed at achieving security, development and stability in the region.
