Abu dhabi: Brent crude oil futures rose to settle at $97.31 per barrel on Monday, hitting a six-week high.
According to Emirates News Agency, Brent crude futures increased by $1.03, or 1.1%, to settle at $97.31 per barrel. This rise followed a peak of $98.06, the highest level since July 24. Similarly, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude saw an increase, climbing 1.3%, or $1.17, to reach $92.65 per barrel. WTI futures had earlier reached $93.29, marking their highest point since July 24.
