Opening Al-Ikhlud water pumping project using solar energy in Taiz

Taiz Governor's Undersecretary for Development and Services Abdul-Wasie Al-Shamsi and Director of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs Osama Al-Qatabri inaugurated on Wednesday Al-Ikhlud water pumping project using solar energy in Maqbanah District. The project, which was implemented in coordination with the Humanitarian Affairs Council, comes within the program to enhance institutional and economic resilience in Yemen, funded by the European Union. During the opening, in the presence of the District Director , Mohammed Al-Khalidi, the Undersecretary of the Province pointed out the importance of solar energy projects in pumping water, which contributes to providing citizens with their needs for clean water at the lowest cost.. stressing the keenness to expand the implementation of these projects.
