SHARJAH: The Al Dhaid Agricultural Exhibition has brought together numerous ministries and government entities and over 50 companies operating in the agriculture and livestock sector, along with experts, farm owners, and farmers.
The exhibition organised by Expo Centre Sharjah in collaboration of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, concludes its activities on Sunday evening.
It showcased innovative solutions and technologies for sustainable food security. The participating companies presented new high-yield crop varieties, organic fertilisers, and pesticides aimed at improving agricultural production efficiency and reducing costs.
The event focused on supporting farmers and launching sustainable agricultural projects aligned with the UAE and Gulf region’s climate.
The exhibition also highlighted the use of artificial intelligence and innovative technologies for modern, sustainable agriculture practices, such as protected agriculture and hydroponics. It provided a platform for companies to engage wit
h farmers and promote organic farming practices.
