Team Great Britain won the gold medal in the teams' showjumping event at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Monday. Laura Collett, Ros Canter and Tom McEwen's performance secured the team's first gold medal. Britain defended the title won at Tokyo 2020 with solid rides in the show-jumping final as the hosts missed out on a victory in front of a euphoric home crowd and had to settle for silver. Britain ended the three-day competition with a combined score of 91.3 penalty points ahead of France with 103.6 and Japan with 115.8. Source: Qatar News Agency
