ABU DHABI: Soaring on an impressive display of teamwork, the PBG Eagles today dominated the final of the four-day Meteora World Tennis League (WTL) Season Two, defeating SG Mavericks Kites 29-26 in Abu Dhabi.
The Eagles were crowned champions and awarded AED1 million, while Kites walked away with AED500,000.
Witnessing the triumph were Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary-General of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Rajesh Banga, Chairman and Founder of WTL, among other dignitaries and fans.
