SANA'A - SABA : Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi on Tuesday praised the Yemeni media for its effective coverage of national events and its notable performance during the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. In a meeting with Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din and Abdulrahman al-Ahnoumi, Acting Director General of the General Corporation for Radio and Television, the Prime Minister commended the media's efforts in supporting development, raising awareness, and countering misinformation from the aggression coalition. He emphasized the need for coordination and consistency among media leadership and workers to enhance stability and achieve success. The meeting included a preview of Yemen TV Channel's new visual identity, set to launch soon. Minister Sharaf al-Din discussed ongoing efforts to advance the official media system, focusing on visual and audio media improvements and technical upgrades. He highlighted the comprehensive coverage planned for the Prophet's birthday celebration and no ted that this year marks the sixtieth anniversary of Yemeni TV in Aden and the fiftieth anniversary in Sana'a.
