A preparatory meeting of the Economic Committee for the 114th regular session of the Arab Economic and Social Council (AESC) at the ministerial level, scheduled for this coming Thursday, was held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States. The Kingdom's delegation was headed by Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs Nayef bin Mohammed Alanazi. The committee discussed the draft agenda, which includes the economic and social file for the upcoming Arab Summit in Iraq in 2025. The committee also reviewed several initiatives submitted by various Arab countries to support and enhance joint Arab action in the economic field. Source: Saudi Press Agency
