President of Belarus Praises UAE’s Investment Role in His Country, Support for Strategic Projects

Minsk: Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, has affirmed that the prospects for economic cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Belarus represent a model of peaceful cooperation aimed at achieving mutual development and prosperity.

According to Emirates News Agency, in statements made on the sidelines of the inauguration of the "International Exhibition Centre" in the capital, Minsk, which was launched with UAE investments, President Lukashenko highlighted that this cooperation reflects the high level of mutual trust between the leaderships of both countries, serving as a solid foundation for further building on the achievements in various fields.

He added that the project represents a significant milestone, reflecting the growing economic partnership between Belarus and the UAE, praising the UAE's investment role in supporting strategic projects on Belarusian soil.

President Lukashenko also expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, commending his commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation with the Republic of Belarus. He wished the UAE continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.

The inauguration of the centre today was attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Ibrahim Salem Al Musharrakh, UAE Ambassador to Belarus, alongside senior officials from the Republic of Belarus.

The International Exhibition Centre is a key pillar of the "North Beach" development project in Belarus. It spans an area of 37,000 square metres, featuring an outdoor exhibition space of over 14,000 square metres, equipped to host events of various sizes.
