Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, Omani Interior Minister Inspect the Empty Quarter Border Intersection

Shaybah, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Omani Interior Minister, inspected today the Empty Quarter border intersection connecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Oman, which was inaugurated during the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, to Oman last December.

During the inspection tour, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and Sayyid Hamoud Al Busaidi unveiled the two commemorative plaques on this occasion, following which they inspected the service facilities at the border intersection, and were briefed on procedures, and the working mechanism.

The two ministers watched a visual presentation on the projects implemented by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at the Empty Quarter border intersection.
