Al Ain:Q Mobility has activated paid parking in three sectors across Al Ain, effective from October 26, under the regulatory supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre, affiliated with the Department of Municipalities and Transport.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative aims to regulate public parking usage, improve traffic flow, and facilitate access to the city's facilities and services. This phase includes three sectors across Al Mu'tarid and Central District, offering a total of 1,455 parking spaces, including spaces reserved for People of Determination.
The introduction of paid parking is a response to the increasing demand for public parking in Al Ain, driven by population growth and the expansion of commercial and service activities. The regulation of parking usage is expected to enhance parking efficiency and improve access to establishments and facilities for residents, visitors, and employees, thereby enriching the daily mobility experience.
Parking fees for standard spaces are set at AED2 per hour, with payments facilitated through the Darb and TAMM apps. Q Mobility encourages motorists to adhere to the approved signage and instructions, use parking spaces as designated, and pay the required fees in compliance with the regulations.
