Ras Al Khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, emphasized the importance of charitable and humanitarian initiatives in fostering a cohesive society during his attendance at the 14th edition of the RAK Terry Fox Run. The event, dedicated to supporting cancer research, took place along Corniche Al Qawasim and featured participation from numerous community members.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud underscored that acts of giving are not only noble but also a source of happiness and contentment. He stated that the charitable initiatives organized in Ras Al Khaimah play a crucial role in promoting cooperation and solidarity among both institutions and individuals, reflecting the fundamental values of the UAE’s people. Such events demonstrate the community’s commitment to supporting humanitarian causes and achieving shared goals.

Proceeds from the event are directed to the University of Sharjah to support specialized cancer research.
