RAK Ruler meets with Fujan Committee Secretary of Chinese Communist Party

XIAMEN: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, met yesterday with Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, in Xiamen, as part of his visit to the People's Republic of China. Zhou Zuyi welcomed the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah to China, emphasising that the visit reflects the deep-rooted and distinguished ties that bring together the leaderships and peoples of the two countries. During the meeting, they discussed the strong friendship between the UAE and China, as well as the comprehensive strategic partnership between them in economic, investment, cultural, and developmental sectors, exploring ways to enhance it to ensure greater prosperity and development for their countries and peoples. H.H. Sheikh Saud also reviewed with Zhou Zuyi the celebration this year of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China, which have seen significant growth. The Ruler of Ras Al Khaima h and his accompanying delegation attended a dinner banquet hosted by Zhou Zuyi in honour of his visit to China. The meeting and banquet were also attended by several heads of Ras Al Khaimah government departments participating in the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), as well as senior government officials from Xiamen, Fujian Province.
