Report Highlights Urban Development Progress

The first half-year report of the Executive Program 2023-2025 for the Economic Modernization Vision has revealed key developments in the urban development sector. The report highlighted significant progress in updating the comprehensive land use plan for Aqaba (2022-2040), aligning it with green growth and smart city initiatives. This included the preparation of a strategic environmental impact assessment, where current environmental data was analyzed to evaluate the potential impacts of future projects on the local environment. A list of priority projects aimed at boosting development and economic growth in the region was compiled.
