Royal Court’s statement: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince condole the government of the United Arab Emirates, Al Nahyan family, brotherly Emirati people and Arab and Islamic nations on passing away of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Jeddah, The Royal Court issued the following statement today:

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister received with great sadness and sorrow the news of passing away of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may Allah bestow mercy on his soul and reside him in paradise.

The King and HRH Crown Prince expressed their deepest condolences and sympathy to the government of the United Arab Emirates, the honorable Al Nahyan family, the brotherly Emirati people, and to the Arab and Islamic nations on passing away of a leader who has given a lot to his people, nation and the world.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, as they share their sorrows with the brothers in the United Arab Emirates, pray to Allah Almighty to grant patience and solace to all in this great calamity, and to perpetuate the United Arab Emirates’ security, stability and prosperity.
