Dubai:The Russian Export Centre (REC) is set to display a variety of technologies and innovative solutions during the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), which will be organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority from October 20 to 22, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
According to Emirates News Agency, the REC will feature 21 companies offering solutions in the energy, water, sustainability, and environmental sectors. These include protective solutions for power transmission networks, monitoring equipment to enhance operational security, autonomous cleaning robots, environmental and ventilation equipment, construction technologies, underwater equipment for marine exploration, and filtration technologies for various water types.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, noted that the increased participation of Russian companies at WETEX creates new opportunities in high-growth markets worldwide and boosts investments in value-added sectors.
Najibullo Jabbori, Chief Representative of the REC in the UAE, emphasized the strategic commitment of the Russian Export Centre to the Middle East and North Africa markets. He highlighted that Russian companies at WETEX 2026 offer innovative solutions that align with the region's sustainability goals, showcasing advanced environmental and water treatment technologies.
The REC, part of the VEB.RF Group, is a state-supported institution that aids Russia's non-commodity and non-energy exports, providing comprehensive assistance to help companies expand internationally. Through its 'Made in Russia' initiative, the REC enhances the global competitiveness of Russian products, emphasizing their sustainability, reliability, and technological excellence.
