Sabbagh to Sablin: Syrian -Russian parliamentary relations are permanently developing

Damascus, Speaker of People’s Assembly, Hammouda Sabbagh, said that the Russian -Syrian parliamentary relations are permanently developing, adding that there is consistent bilateral coordination at all the international and regional forums.

Sabbagh, meeting head of the Russian side at the Russian –Syrian parliamentary committee, Dmitrii Sablin, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Nataliya Nikonorova, underlined the solid relations that bind Syria with each of Russia and Donetsk.

He reiterated Syria’s firm and consistent support for Russia in its special military operation in Ukraine aiming to preserve Russia’s national security along with protecting its people.

Sabbagh voiced his confidence that the full victory would be in favor of the free and honorable peoples.

Sablin, for his part, affirmed that the targets of the special military operation in Ukraine will be achieved whatever were the volume of support and the number of mercenaries that have being brought to Ukraine.

He hailed Syria’s stances in defense of the people’s rights to build their future without external interferences.
