Abu Dhabi: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met with Juanito Victor Remulla, Secretary of the Interior and Local Government of the Republic of the Philippines, to discuss enhancing cooperation between their nations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening partnerships in policing and security. A significant outcome was the signing of a bilateral security agreement to support joint efforts in crime combatting and the sharing of best practices and expertise.
The meeting was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Brigadier Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, and several senior officers from the Ministry of Interior. Secretary Remulla was accompanied by Lilian de Leon, Heidi Sy, and other members of the Philippine delegation.
