DUBAI: Seasoned entrepreneur and internet coach, Salah Abo Al Majd was at the 1 Billion Followers Summit on Wednesday to offer the emerging generation of content creators in Dubai the knowledge and tools they need to outpace their competitors and achieve up to 10X increase in sales by building practical strategies for strategic marketing and sustainable business growth.
At a workshop titled ‘Business Growth Hacks’ Abo Al Majd, who has over 15 years of experience in mindset building and training, guided attendees on the aspects of setting clear goals, understanding their motivation, and maintaining discipline. He noted that sales is not just a set formula one memorizes, but a way of thinking. ‘If you understand how people think, you can achieve your goals and increase your sales’, he told his audience.
During the session, he emphasized the significance of benchmarking success and celebrating achievements. Attendees learned that people’s purchasing decisions are primarily emotion-driven, followed by post-purc
hase rationalization. Abo Al Majd highlighted the importance of building trust and likability with customers and underscored ensuring customer satisfaction as a crucial element of business growth.
‘If customers like and trust you, then they will purchase from you,’ he said.
Abo Al Majd challenged the common misconception that sales is merely a job, illustrating how everyday interactions involve elements of selling. ‘Everyone interacting with another person is essentially making a sale, whether it’s a husband talking to his wife, a father with his children, or a person with their friends,’ he said.
He stressed that building and growing a business is one of the most hectic jobs in life, noting that more than 90 percent of businesses fail due to the lack of a clear vision and path. ‘Companies sell 10x more when they change perspectives and not specs, therefore we should always focus on perspective customization more than product customization,’ he concluded.

Amman: The death toll from Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip reached 23,469 Thursday, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The ministry spokesperson Ashraf Qidrah said that the Israeli occupation forces carried out 10 massacres in the last 24 hours in which 112 people were killed and 194 were injured.
