Saud bin Saqr Welcomes Indian Steel and Heavy Industries Minister

Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received H.D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries of India, at his palace in the city of Saqr bin Mohammed. The Indian Minister is currently visiting the UAE.

According to Emirates News Agency, Kumaraswamy was accompanied by Sunjay Sudhir, the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, and Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul-General of India in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. H.H. Sheikh Saud extended a warm welcome to the delegation and engaged in discussions about the strong and longstanding relations between the UAE and India.

The talks focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the industrial sector, highlighting the depth of economic and trade ties between the two countries. The meeting underscored the potential for collaboration between Ras Al Khaimah and India in the steel and heavy industries sector, emphasizing the importance of strategic partnerships that align with sustainable development goals.

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi reiterated Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to strengthening ties with India, building on the robust bilateral relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and India. Kumaraswamy expressed his appreciation to H.H. the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the hospitality. He affirmed India’s eagerness to expand its cooperation with the UAE and establish new partnerships contributing to sustainable industrial growth. He also praised Ras Al Khaimah’s development in industry, investment, and tourism.
