The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's condemnation in the strongest terms of the blatant and repeated stormings by Israeli occupation officials and several settlers into the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque. In a statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry reaffirmed the importance of respecting religious sanctities. It also reiterated the Kingdom's warning regarding the repercussions of the ongoing violations of international law and the historical status of the city of Jerusalem, as well as the provocation of millions of Muslims worldwide, particularly in light of the humanitarian catastrophe experienced by the Palestinian people. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has reiterated its call for the international community to assume its responsibility in halting the ongoing Israeli violations of international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions. This morning, two extremist Israeli ministers and members of the Knesset stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli pol ice. This coincided with incursions by extremists, their provocative actions, and the imposition of restrictions on worshippers entering the blessed mosque. Source: Qatar News Agency
