Saudi Arabia to Host World Under-21 Snooker Championship 2023

Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host in July of 2023 for the first time in its history the World Under-21 Snooker Championship for men and women, at the request of the Saudi Arabian Billiard and Snooker Federation and the official approval was made during the meetings of the General Assembly of the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF), which was held during the past two days in the city of Antalya, Turkiye..

During the meeting, it was agreed in principle that Saudi Arabia will host the World Cup for Billiard and Snooker for men and women in October of 2024 for six balls and masters.

The Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the championship comes after a series of successes in hosting international events in various games and in line with the plans and goals of Saudi’s Vision 2030, to enhance the position of Saudi Arabia regionally and globally and its ability to host these major global events, to create a vital society with the highest standards of quality of life.
