Saudi Defence Forces Intercept Ballistic Missile, Two Drones

Muscat: The Saudi Ministry of Defence announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile and two drones: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, as clarifying that the intercepted and destroyed missile was launched towards the Eastern Region, while the two drones were destroyed east of Al-Kharj Governorate.

According to Emirates News Agency, the operation to intercept these threats was carried out successfully, ensuring no damage or casualties were reported. The swift action by the defence forces highlights the ongoing challenges and threats faced in the region, as well as the vigilance and preparedness of the Saudi military.
