Mexico City, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has participated in the opening of International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH).
Entitled “Culture for Peace”, ALIPH was held within the activities of the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT 2022, in the Mexican capital, Mexico City, from 28 to 30 September 2022.
ALIPH highlights a number of the World Heritage sites that have been endangered by conflicts.
It also reflects the importance of heritage protection’s projects in creating jobs opportunities and strengthen community cohesion.
