The Saudi Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, has met with the Minister of Education of the UAE Dr. Ahmed Al-Falasi on the sidelines of the G20 education ministers meeting held in the Republic of India, it was reported here today.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of the existing cooperation between the two countries in the scientific fields, research and exchange of experiences.
They also discussed ways to enhance memorandums of understanding and scientific agreements between the two countries, as well as cooperation between Saudi and UAE universities, and scholarships offered by the Kingdom to UAE students.
The meeting dealt with opportunities for future cooperation between the two countries with regard to the scientific and research exchange between educational institutions, the exchange of visits, and the twinning of universities, in addition to holding joint scientific and educational days.
