Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met yesterday in Riyadh with Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi and Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mahmoud Esmat.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, renewable energy, and hydrogen, aiming to achieve their common aspirations in these fields, in alignment. This cooperation aligns with the vision of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries and the ambitions of their peoples.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of joint projects, including such as the electrical interconnection project between the Saudi and Egyptian power grids-the two largest electrical grids in the region. The Project-which will enhance the stability and reliability of power supply between the two countries and maximize the economic and developmental returns of the joint electrical projects.
