Saudi-Pakistani Joint Working Group for Political and Security Affairs Holds 1st Meeting in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Saudi-Pakistani Supreme Coordination Council’s Joint Working Group for Political and Security Affairs has held its first meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The Saudi side was headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud bin Mohammad Al-Sati, while the Pakistani side was headed by the Acting Undersecretary of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jawhar Salim .

The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in many fields, including political and security, in addition to intensifying joint action, coordination and consultation on bilateral, regional and international issues of concern to the two countries.
