The Saudi Postal Corporation (SPL) has registered and corrected nearly 3,000 geospatial addresses belonging to the Ministry of Health. This initiative aims to simplify access to these facilities by ensuring their data are clearly displayed on Google Maps. Additionally, it enhances emergency response times, reduces travel durations, and improves the infrastructure for logistics and geospatial services. The geospatial address registration project is part of a plan to transfer ownership to the Ministry of Health. This transfer will empower the ministry to manage and operate all addresses and locations of its facilities on Google Maps. Furthermore, it will enable them to directly respond to inquiries from the public and patients, establishing high reliability through SPL's commercial publisher platform. SPL strives to achieve its strategic objectives of becoming the leading entity and primary strategic choice for the government and private sectors. As a national operator, it boasts high capabilities in provid ing postal services, logistics, and geospatial solutions across the region. Source: Saudi Press Agency
