The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) organized yesterday a field trip to several coffee farms in the mountainous governorates of Jazan for a group of experts and engineers specializing in coffee quality and plant classification.
The objective was to improve farmers’ skills in using quality management tools and improve the quality of coffee, and group coffee plants with the desired genotypes into classes with identical characteristics. This grouping will enable a comprehensive molecular and chemical classification of the plants.
